How to get there - public transport

We recommend coming by train. The conference location is at walking distance from Utrecht Central Station. Utrecht can be reached by direct trains from many places, including Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam, Einhoven. The ICE train from Germary also stops at Utrecht.

From Utrecht Central Station, you can take bus 2 to stop "Korte Nieuwstraat/Hamburgerstraat". Walk through the Hamburgerstraat to the Nieuwegracht, and turn right. After 50m you find the building of the Volksuniversiteit.

Alternatively, you can walk from the station (10-15 min.): from the station, pass through the shopping mall "Hoog Catharijne" and leave it through exit "Godebaldkwartier". Cross the Catharijnesingel to the street called Mariaplaats. At the end of this street, turn right onto the Springweg. Turn left, onto the Haverstraat. Cross the Oudegracht and walk straight on onto the Hamburgerstraat. Turn right when you get to the Nieuwegracht, after 50m you find the building of the Volksuniversiteit.

By car

If you come by car, take into account traffic jams around Utrecht during rush hour and high parking fees in the city center. The closest parking is located near the Springweg (Strosteeg).

To avoid high parking fees, you can also park at Transferium Westraven in the South of Utrecht (just outside the city) and travel to the center by tram (fee for full day parking + tram: €3,50).
