AssessingImpact

Test driven development of possible feedback questions to ask, for assessing impact of the conference:
  • Are answers to these questions likely to give us an overview of the effects of the Agile Open conference?
  • Can we determine the relative success of the conference from the perspective of agile business and agile software development with answers to these questions?
  • Does this list provide enough questions with enough variety (all four learning stages representing) to draw 5-7 questions or ideas from, for initiating effective discussions during the ClosingSession? (see questions in bold --Marc )
  • Do these questions help us to determine whether to have and how to improve a next Agile Open conference?

Objective questions

  • What is your name and professional role?
  • Which sessions did you need/want/wish for? Which of these were not offered or available at the conference?
  • Which sessions did you attend?
  • Any particular observations you made during the conference?

Reflective questions

  • Which sessions made a distinct impression on you and why?
  • Which sessions excited you or made you wonder?
  • What sessions and other things on this conference surprised, puzzled or bewildered you?
  • Did you gain new insights or ideas for development or business?

Interpretive questions

  • Where do you see increased agility and/or collaboration for your self as professional as a result of attending this conference?
  • What issues that are important for you as a professional seem to have been adressed at this conference?
  • What issues remain for you?
  • Do you see potential for applying (improved) agility and/or collaboration in your professional environment? Could you give an example?

Determining questions

  • How would you sum up the impact of Agile Open?
  • What did we do well?
  • Where and how can we improve how we organize ourselves and apply OpenSpace?
  • Would you come if we were to put on a second Agile Open conference? Would you invite your friends?
Your insights on the sessions and effects of the first Agile Open conference is much appreciated. We will place results on the wiki without (company) names to protect your privacy and will use combined feedback and suggestions for improving the 2nd International Agile Open conference, if and when we have One.
